Placetostay housing units

• All rooms are fully furnished.
• Usual rental duration: minimum 5 months at a time (August/September – January, or February – June/July); ideally 10 months (September – June).
• Reservations for shorter periods are accepted, but conditions may change.
• Online reservations start from the 1st of the month.
• A formal contract will be required.
• Visa declarations are available (cost: €30, VAT included).
• Reservations can be made in advance upon a bank transfer of one month's rent.
• Upon arrival, students pay the 1st and the last month of rent (unless the reservation was already made with the 1st month's rent) and leave a €250 deposit to cover damages to the room or apartment. The deposit is paid at check-in.
• Prices include all costs: high-speed fibre Wi-Fi, cable TV when available, weekly cleaning of common areas, water, electricity and gas (up to a reasonable limit), mailbox, dishwasher and laundry machine.
• Bed linen, pillows and duvet are not provided for hygiene reasons, though they may be available in the house.
• Rooms may be re-rented to other students with prior approval.
• Rooms and shared areas must be left in the same condition as when moved in.
• Rent is paid monthly, due on the 1st of the month. Late payment fees apply.
• Visitors are allowed with prior permission and according to the contract; one-time overnight stays are allowed without authorization.
• Cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee of up to one month's rent. Cancellation up to 90 days before check-in incurs a cancellation fee of one month's rent.
• Invoices with a tax number must be requested before payment.
• Deposits are returned up to 60 days after the end of the accommodation contract.

Rules & conditions — co-managed houses

• All rooms are fully furnished (bed, desk, chair, drawers, hangers).
• Prices include high-speed wireless internet, cable TV, weekly cleaning of common areas (where specified), water, electricity, gas and internet (up to a reasonable limit), mailbox and washing machine.
• Rental duration: minimum 5 months (September – January, or February – June); priority for students staying 10 months (September – June).
• Rooms are reserved from the 1st of the month for the September – January period.
• Students must transfer one month's rent and pay a non-refundable reservation fee.
• Upon arrival, students pay the 1st and last month of rent and leave a €250 deposit (unless already transferred) to cover extra running costs and damages.
• Rooms may be re-rented to other students with prior approval from the administration.
• Rooms and apartments must be left in the same condition as when moved in.
• A formal contract and receipts will be provided.
• Rent is paid monthly on the 1st. Late payment fees apply.
• Visitors are allowed — maximum 3 per apartment, up to five days. Prior written authorization from the administration is required.
• Overnight stays are allowed and require no authorization.
• Invoices with a tax number must be requested before payment.
• Cancellation up to 90 days before check-in is subject to a cancellation fee of one month's rent.
• Deposits are returned up to 60 days after the end of the accommodation contract.
